About Our Strong Inner Fence Kits:
These four-foot fences are designed to last. More robust and less mobile than our step-in post fences, they feature fiberglass posts with an estimated life of 30 years--as opposed to 3-5 years for plastic step-in posts. Use these fence kits with their 4 runs of polyrope where you want to do semi-permanent jobs like dividing pastures, where budget considerations are important, and where you may need to move the fence on short notice.
STRENGTHS: Effective, visible, long-lasting, economical, reasonably movable, and suitable for use where the ground is dry or frozen.
WEAKNESSES: These fences are a bit harder to move than fences made with step-in posts. Not intended to serve as an outer stand-alone horse fence with no back-up fence in place.
LENGTHS OFFERED: Up to any length desired (sold in 320 and 640-foot increments). The polyconductors in these fence kits are not designed to carry a charge more than 5,000 feet from the charger. If greater length is desired, we recommend substituting the polyrope provided in the kit with another quarter-inch polyproduct, either polyrope 02-95 with tinned copper wires, range 3+ miles, or electrobraid (product 02-64) with copper wires, range over 8 miles. You can do this by following the kit customizing instructions found at the bottom of the table in the Strong Inner Horse Fence Kit Parts Section.
