Elfin-style Insulator for Wood Posts and Round Conductors
We offer Elfin-style insulator 07-64 for those who like this traditional insulator or who wish to match an existing run of insulators.
Corner and End Insulators (Corner Knobs and Tubular Insulators) for Round Conductors
Many line insulators for round conductors are not well-suited to carrying the electric fence conductor around corners or terminating a run of the conductor. For these purposes it is convenient to use one of our electric fence corner knob insulators (producst 07-13, 07-13A, and 07-68). All these insulators have two channels, one for a wire or cord used to attach the insulator to a post (any kind of post), and the other for carrying the electric fence conductor. To terminate electric fence polyrope or polywire, use one of these corner insulators in combination with a polyrope or polywire clamp (see products 08-06A and 08-12B). Alternatively, one can use a double-ring insulator (08-22) or a wheel insulator (07-13F), both of which screw into wood posts. One can also run a high-tensile or other wire conductor through a tubular insulator (product 07-89) and run the insulator-encased wire behind the post. These tubular insulators are reinforced inside with a metal insert designed to take high-tensile strain.
