Top’R Insulators for Wood Posts and Round Conductors
The Top’R insulators below will handle any conductor including polyrope up to 3/8-inch in diameter and polytape up to 1.5 inches wide. Designed to fit over the tops of standard metal T-posts, they can be attached to wood posts by means of a nail driven straight down through the center of the insulator into the wood post. They are generally not suited to use with stand-alone vinyl posts or metal T-posts covered with vinyl sleeves. Available in white, black, and yellow.
Ring-style Insulator and 8" Extender Insulator for Wood Posts and Round Conductors
Ring-style insulators (products 07-59 and 07-60) are not suited to stand-alone vinyl posts but do well on wood and wood-backed vinyl posts. They will take all round insulators including 3/8-inch polyrope and are suited for use with high-tensile wire. Available in white and black.
We also offer a ring-style extender insulator that shares these features and holds the conductor 8 inches out from the post.
Pin-lock Insulators for Wood/Vinyl Posts and Round Conductors
Pinlock insulators work on both wood and vinyl posts and are especially well-suited to holding high-tensile wire securely. They are a fairly tight fit for polyrope but can accommodate it in a pinch, and they work well with polywire and wire.
