1.5-inch Polytape
This is the most commonly used wide electric fence polytape. All the 1.5-inch tapes offered below have stainless steel wires. Some (notably products 02-38, 02-40, and 02-45 thru 02-48) behave well in wind, having a strong open weave that allows the wind to pass through, thereby minimizing wear and tear. 02-38 and 02-40 are identical except for their color, the black tape providing increased winter visibility in areas where snow is on the ground. Likewise, 02-45 is identical to 02-47 except for color, and ditto for 02-46 and 02-48. Products 02-38, 02-40, and 02-41 all have a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects and UV damage; 02-44 has a 5-year warranty, and 02-45 thru 02-48 all have a 20-year limited warranty. The maximum suggested electric fence lengths for these products are as follows: 02-38 and 02-40, 3,500 feet; 02-20, 02-41, 02-44, and 02-45 thru 02-48, 5,000 feet.
