Dare Enforcer 1200 (DE-1200) Low Impedance Electric Fence Charger, UL Listed, 3 Joules

Field Guardian Lieutenant (FGM300) Low Impedance Electric Fence Charger, UL Listed, 3 Joules

This 3 joule electric fence charger (a match for the Power Wizard 3000) has a profile rather like that of the Field Guardian Sergeant, but it handles weeds a bit better and administers a stronger jolt. It is well-suited to both large pastures and spirited horses. Voltage data: The FGM300 electric fence charger will keep 2000 volts on the line in the face of a major (50 ohm) weed burden, and will keep 4000 volts on the line if the weed burden does not offer anything better than a 200-ohm path to the ground. Joule range: The FGM300 produces a 1.7 joule pulse on a 500-ohm circuit and a full-throated 3.2 joule pulse on a 100-ohm circuit (for more about joules see Charger Safety, Horse Fences, and Joules). Other animals: This electric fence charger is good at containing cattle as well as pigs, sheep, and goats—and also at repelling deer using either a baited or an unbaited electric fence (see electric deer fence options), and to keeping out javelinas, feral pigs, coyotes, wolves, mountain lions, bears, and bison. General data: The FGM300 features all-weather construction and modular circuitry for fast and easy service. It comes with built-in lightning protection, instructions, and a three-year warranty covering both defects and lightning damage. A light flashes to indicate that the charger and its immediate connections are working properly.
